What is it?

WordPress is an online, open source website creation tool written in PHP. It’s probably the easiest and most powerful blogging and website content management system (or CMS) in existence today.1

How is it used?

Create a blog or a website to share, publish ideas, interests, an initiative, a business, or  about yourself.  Practice creative writing or using different voices for media outlets.  Use WordPress for digital storytelling, or to manage all of your websites using only one interface.
